1. Privacy at a Glance
General Information
The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data with which you could be personally identified. Detailed information on the subject of data protection can be found in our privacy policy listed below this text.
Data Collection on our Website
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. Their contact details can be found in the legal notice (Imprint). We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.
2. Hosting & Server Log Files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of their website – for this purpose, the server log files must be recorded.
3. Special Community Features
As a SimRacing community, we use various third-party services to offer you a seamless and competitive experience. To log in and use the leaderboards and telemetry systems, we link certain external accounts.
Steam Integration (Single-Sign-On)
We use Steam for central login (Single-Sign-On) and profile creation. If you log in via Steam, the following public data from the Steam Web API is transmitted to us and stored:
- Your unique Steam ID
- Your Steam username
- Your profile picture (Avatar URL)
In addition, we use your Steam ID to associate your lap times on our racing servers (Assetto Corsa Competizione) with your profile. We never have access to your Steam password.
Discord Integration (Notifications)
You have the option to link your account with Discord, for example, to receive event notifications. Only your Discord ID is stored to deliver messages to you or synchronize roles. No login takes place via Discord.
4. Your Rights (Information, Deletion & Blocking)
You have the right at any time to receive information about the origin, recipient, and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge. You also have a right to request the correction or deletion of this data.
Automated Account Deletion:
You can independently and fully automatically delete your account at any time in your account settings (under Profile -> Settings). All linked personal data (Discord login, profile picture, team affiliation) will be irrevocably removed from our database. Lap times on servers remain anonymized as historical race data.

5. Cookies & Local Storage
Our internet pages use so-called "cookies". Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. They serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective, and secure.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies" (e.g. for login). They are automatically deleted after your visit. We do not use tracking cookies from Google Analytics or advertising networks, to protect your privacy as best as possible.
